Well the Camino delivered today… forest, hills, boulders, farms, rivers, animals (first horse, first cow, a few cats, multiple geckos too quick to photograph, and a nesting STORK!) … and more blistering. I will have to take a day or two to let my feeties breathe and heal. To be fair, a week ago I walked my urban feet out of an office and into this adventure…they didn’t get much of a warm up!

I also worked out today why the days’ walks are longer than I expect in the morning. Google maps walking gives a more direct and less scenic / pilgrim route… (the dotted options, compared with the solid blue line below) It is not just my optimism!
